Taking firm steps in order to be entitled as “Bicycle-Friendly City” by UCI, Sakarya will become the heartbeat of cycling sports this year. The city of Sakarya, hosting many national and international bicycle races, is preparing to host many riders and bicycle lovers from around the world this season.

Sakarya Mtb Cup – XCM, which serves as a track test for the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championship, will be held on July 30, 2021, and the UCI MTB Marathon Series on August 1, 2021.

World-renowned riders will compete to win the cup in the track where they competed in the previous year’s World Championship, that is Ayçiçeği Cycling Valley – one of the world’s leading cycling facilities.

Between October 23-31, Sakarya will open its doors to a different branch of cycling, the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup.

Sakarya, which will host many local and foreign bicycle lovers during the World Championship, is also preparing for the Bike Fest to be held in the EXPO area. The festival, which will be open to visitors between October 23-31, will feature brands as well as many different events.
